FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

While I realize that there are an infinite number of questions that can be asked about what I do and the Spirit World in general, I thought that answering some of the most common would be helpful. I am not an expert on any of these topics, however, I can provide my opinions based on my research, learning, and experiences. Please follow my YouTube Channel as I will also be answering questions and sharing experiences there.

What does "transitioned" mean?

 

We are all energy, and energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Therefore, we do not "die," our energy shifts form. We experience our life on earth in a human body, and when we "die" our souls leave our body and we "transition" to a different form, and dimension; that of the Spirit realm. 

​

What does the term "Spirit" mean?

 

"Spirit," as I will be using the term, refers to a collective of beings that are not in human form, that are filled with love and light and reside in the "Spirit World." This includes loved ones who have transitioned, guides, ancestors, angels, guardians, star beings, and the Divine Source. The "Spirit World" is an series of energetic dimensions, rather than an actual place as we are accustomed to on earth. ​

What is the difference between a Medium and a Psychic? 

 

Mediums communicate with the spirit/soul of humans who are no longer alive on earth; psychic work occurs between living humans.

How does Mediumship work?

​

Simply put, think of it as a telephone line or a radio frequency that I am able to tune into; on the other end are former humans (and animals) that have transitioned. Because earth is heavy, and dense while the Spirit realms are much lighter and faster, I raise my frequency and those in Spirit lower theirs so that we can connect in the middle. Then, through my senses, they communicate with me. This happens via images (clairvoyance), auditory messages (clairaudience), implanting knowledge in my mind (claircognizance), having me experience emotions and feelings (clairsentience), and even by sending me smells (clairalience)! The Spirit World is magic, truly, and their ability to convey meaningful messages to me, to then pass on to their loved ones, is both the most amazing thing I could have ever imagined, and the greatest privilege I could have asked for.

What if none of my loved ones in Spirit "show up" during my appointment?

 

It's never happened, Spirit is always there, ready to connect. In fact, MANY loved ones will come through. One of the biggest challenges mediums face is to identify all of the Spirits that come in for the client; things can get confusing if they all rush in the "door" at once.

Can you contact a specific loved one that has passed? 

 

While there are no guarantees when working with the Spirit World, my answer to this is a resounding YES. Intentions are extremely powerful things; if we both set the intention to connect with a certain person and invite them into the loving, energetic, space that we have created during the reading, the chances of them coming through are high in my experience.

Can I ask my Spirit Team and loved ones questions? 

 

While it isn't a guarantee that they will answer, we can sure try! I have had good success with receiving answers from Spirit. 

​

If I had a strained relationship with someone when they were alive, will I have to talk to them if they come through? Will they be upset or angry with me because of things that happened in the past?

​

When humans transition, they leave their bodies and their egos. They return "home," after going through another incarnation of learning and soul evolution on earth. They exist in a pure, entirely loving, peaceful state - the soul. In that state and from that perspective, there is no judgment, no resentment, no grudges, and, if they weren't a kind person while on earth, they are humble, regretful, and wanting to make amends. They are able to see the repercussions of their actions while alive, and want to reach out with love. Every. Single. Time.

That said, if someone comes through that you do not want to communicate with, please let me know, and we can move on to the next Spirit person.

How do psychic abilities work?

​

I will share with you first and foremost, that being psychic is not how it appears on television and in the movies! "Hollywood" has done psychics and mediums a huge disservice by misrepresenting almost every aspect of what we do. We don't know every deep and dark secret you have, we are not fortune tellers, and if we could come up with the lottery numbers, we would all be very rich! What I do during the psychic part of a reading is blend with your energy via your auric field. I then receive images, feelings, knowledge, and possible potentials on aspects of you as a person, and your life. Every human has free-will, and at any time the things that you choose to do, or not do, affect all of the other outcomes that exist, thus it is important to understand that nothing is ever written in stone. I am here to work WITH you as I explore the energy surrounding you and your life.

What do I need to do to prepare for a private reading?

 

The most important thing is to have open energy and be able to flow with whatever happens. When there are specific expectations and skepticism present, the energy of the reading can be slow, of low quality, and in some cases even block the whole process. Your loved ones will provide evidence of who they are. Other things that are brought up during your reading (psychic information, messages from guides, past life visions/connections, soul path etc.), will resonate deeply with you and are often reinforced through signs and synchronicities following the appointment. 

​

It can be helpful to set intentions for the session and invite your loved ones and Spirit Team to come and join us. They want to speak to you as much as you want to speak to them, and when you hold them in your heart and ask for communication, they will come through. Above all, know that everything is based on love, light, and healing. These connections are such an amazing gift from across the veil; trust that you will have a beautiful experience!

Is there a difference in the efficacy and accuracy of readings when they are done online vs in-person?

​

No... and it's an amazing thing to witness and experience first-hand; time and space are truly concepts that only exist on earth. When Spirit "people" come through, they come right to me and I can feel them in my immediate energetic space. I can also tune into the energy of the client, regardless of where they are located across the globe. Many of my readings have been international and it's like there is no distance whatsoever, it's truly fascinating!

What is the difference between Tarot and Oracle Cards?

 

The Tarot is a set of 78 cards divided into categories (Arcanas) that are the same, regardless of which Tarot deck you are using. Oracle cards are smaller decks that are individually created with a variety of themes, artistry, and intentions. Both are used as tools of Divination, enhancing connections to a higher power for guidance, support, and understanding.

Will you use the cards during my appointment?

 

I can do entire readings using the cards, while other times I don't use them at all. If you are looking to have the cards used specifically, please book an Oracle Card session.

How does hypnosis work? Is it safe?

 

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation that triggers a heightened sense of awareness, an internal focus, and increased suggestibility. As a Certified Past-Life Regressionist, I take you through a deep meditative process where you reach a light trance state, and are able to access a deeper level of consciousness, connecting with deep parts of yourself, your soul, and past lives. Hypnosis has been used for thousands of years by almost every ancient culture on the globe, and has repeatedly been proven to be incredibly effective for many mental and physical issues. It is safe, and should always be conducted by a trained and certified practitioner.

Will I lose control of myself? Will I cluck like a chicken?!

 

NO! Unfortunately, hypnosis has been misrepresented on television, in movies, and at public entertainment venues. You will have full control over yourself during the entire session, and you can come "up" and back to full awareness at any time. Hypnosis is not manipulation or mind control; it is a way to access experiences and memories that are in the banks of the subconscious, and in the case of past lives, your soul. This leads to incredible discoveries, transformation, and healing.

What is Spiritual Healing?

 

Spiritual Healing involves using the energy of the Universe for healing. The practitioner is the container and transmitter of the incoming energy, sending it to the client. Spiritual Healing is not a substitute for a doctor or related health professionals, nor is it to be used as a diagnostic tool.

What is the difference between Spiritual Healing and Trance Healing?

 

While both forms of healing use the practitioner as a vessel, Spiritual Healing involves auric, chakral, and physical scans of the patient to provide information to the practitioner, while Trance requires the practitioner to remain in a passive state where healing transfers to where it is needed without the practitioner's awareness.

You can do healing sessions without the patient being there in front of you? How does that work?!

 

I don't know how it works, but it does! The connection to Source energy and the opportunity to heal from it is not affected by time or space, thus there is no difference in the efficacy of the session when people are at a distance, or physically present. Whatever I set my intentions on, is where the healing energy goes.
